about

Ultrabunny's 2nd Vinyl Album. All tracks were recorded live on the spot and are 100% improvised. Nobody on the stage knew what was going on before it happened (and likely during and after as well).

"Outer Bounds of Sound? Why, it's a state of mind. Can you dig it? Just like intergalactic strength duct tape, holding everything together, but letting you fly free and keeping yo' ass safe. Yeah, kid of like that, but different. Now you've got a choice fine music buyer. Buy the latest hipster album that within a month you'll just end up hiding in a box in your mama's basement, or diggin' the Outer Bounds? Mmm Hold on there, look 2 aisles over, see that space travelin lookin mug wearing that t-shirt for a record store from another terrestrial plane? He sees you holding this, and is waitin for you to put it down so he can move in and make OFF with it. Why? Cause he KNOWS. Uh-huh, he knows. And you could too, that is, if you make the right choice. Goin for it? Good for you. Aint opening yo' mind a blast?" -Jim Gibson

Malcolm Tent on the Bass Guitar
Pete Beest on the Drums
Bobby Bunny on Guitar and Vocals

Tracks 1 and 2 occurred at Club Europa, a Polish Disco in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on 11/23/07. We had fun disco dancing afterward. Track 3 is a gem of a jam captured at The Delancey in NYC on 1/18/06. Tracks 4 and 5 originate from the RatWard Noise Fest in Phoebus, Virginia 8/7/04. This was before the big knife fight between the little people. Tracks 6, 7 and 8 went down at The Heirloom Arts Theater in Danbury, Connecticut (our humble hometown) on 2/29/08 in the middle of a blizzard.

Everything was taped by Malcolm Tent on the MT Field Unit ("3 tracks and a prayer"). Mr. Tent edited and assembled the tapes to create this here LP, which was subsequently remastered for digital audio at BKBunnyland in Brooklyn by Bobby Bunny in July 2020 during the COVID19 lockdown while wearing a mask and socially distancing at least 2 meters. Kristen Goehringer took the original LP snapshots and her photos grace the newly redesigned cover art. Back Cover photo by Nicholas Gazin - capturing the reaction of our live shows. excellent! Thanks.

All songs are the creations of ULTRABUNNY. This whole recording copyright and published by ULTRABUNNY. www.ultrabunny.com

The original 2009 release was part of the "Outer Bounds of Sound" series created by Jim Gibson at his Noiseville Records Labe, catalog # NOISE 083LP. 300 12" vinyl copies were pressed. Now very rare - try and collect them all, like pokemon. about

Ultrabunny Danbury, Connecticut

Bobby Bunny and Malcolm Tent founded Connecticut's most infamous noiserock band BunnyBrains in 1988. Hardly satisfied, in 2002 they upped the ante with Ultrabunny. Is that blood coming out of my ears???
